Black River Coliseum has announced Jeff Foxworthy will return to Poplar Bluff next spring to join festivities for the Total Eclipse of the Bluff.

“We’re excited. We’re working hard to get some entertainment in here for the folks coming into town for that weekend,” said Coliseum Director Greg Smith. “It’s going to be a big weekend for us at the Coliseum and the city as well, the county. I know the chamber is working hard on this with us to promote all the activities that we’ve got coming here.”

Smith thanked the chamber, the City of Poplar Bluff, Golden Eagle Entertainment, Mammoth Entertainment and other supporters.

The announcement was live-streamed at the Greater Poplar Bluff Area Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday morning.

Foxworthy has special significance to the Coliseum, Smith explained.

“Foxworthy was our very first show that we opened the facility with, and we’re bringing him back for kind of a 25-year anniversary for the Coliseum,” he said.

The concert is on April 7, 2024, with doors opening at 7 p.m. and the show beginning at 8 p.m. Tickets sales open Tuesday, Nov. 28, through Ticketmaster and the Coliseum box office. Seats range from $39-$99.

Smith also hinted at an April 6 show to be announced in December.
