John Hribovsek

John Edgar Hribovsek, 83, of Galena, Missouri, passed away on April 30, 2023. He entered this life April 11, 1940, the son of John and Emma (Gourley) Hribovsek in Neelyville. John was joined in marriage to Betty June Lamb on Feb. 18, 1983.

He enjoyed fishing, spending time on his boat, and camping. During his working years, he worked as a crane operator throughout the United States. John was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. The memories created throughout his lifetime will be cherished forever.

John is survived by his wife of 40 years, Betty Hribovsek of Galena; children: John Hribovsek Jr., Melissa Hribovsek, Glenda Moore, all of North Carolina, Ronda (Garrie) Lain of Arizona and Kelly Moon of California; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Bill (Belinda) Hibovsek; and sister, Elizabeth Knapp of Colorado.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

There are no formal services planned at this time. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
