Roger Lloyd

Roger Dale Lloyd, 78, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Evelyn’s Hospice House in Creve Coeur, Missouri.

He was born Dec. 17, 1944 in Seligman, Missouri, the son of Clarence Franklin and Pansy Lena (Perkins) Lloyd, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was one brother, Connie Ray Lloyd.

Surviving are one daughter, Keyla Walker and her husband, Chris, of Wildwood, Missouri; one son, Jonathan Lloyd and his wife, Tammy, of Harviell, Missouri; one brother, Efton Lloyd of Rogers, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Dustin Lloyd, Dylan Lloyd, Nicole Walker, Bryenna Walker, and Breyden Walker; and one great-grandchild, Kye Lloyd.

Roger grew up in the Seligman, Missouri area graduating from Southwest High School in Washburn, Missouri. He served in the United States Army from July 14, 1965 until June 26, 1967 during the Vietnam War and also served eight years in the Missouri National Guard, Monett, Missouri. Roger was employed by Wells Aluminum for 28 years from where he retired in 2005. In his spare time he enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, gardening, & carpentry.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 3, 2023 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Burial will be at New Salem Cemetery in Seligman.

The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m. Sunday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
