Juanita Yarbro

Juanita “Tillie” Caroldean Yarbro, 92, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away March 10, 2023 at Mark Twain Caring Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Tillie was born May 22, 1930, to Howard and Gertrude McPherson in Faulkner County, Arkansas. She married Jack Rayford Yarbro July 6, 1947, in Piggott, Arkansas.

Tillie was a hardworking woman that raised three children while working in the cotton field. She was a rural carrier for 30 years starting in 1960 for USPS in Poplar Bluff, she liked to read, bowl and garden. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her children and grandchildren. She loved fiercely and was incredibly protective of those she loved. She will be missed by all her family and friends.

Tillie is survived by three children: Don (Brenda) Yarbro, Jerry (Sally) Yarbro and Carol Yarbro, seven grandchildren: 12 great-grandchildren:; one brother; and several nieces and nephews.

Tillie was preceded by her parents, husband: Jack Rayford Yarbro, and 10 siblings.

Visitation will be held from 5:30-7 p.m. Sunday, March 12, 2023, at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services in Poplar Bluff .

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, March 13, 2023, with Kevin Murray officiating. Burial will take place at Browns Chapel immediately following.
