The Poplar Bluff Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a runaway juvenile who has been missing for more than a month.

Seth Davidson, 14, of Poplar Bluff ran away from home on Jan. 13 and has been listed as a missing person since then. He is described as a 5-foot, 4-inch tall white male weighing about 90 lbs. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

“We’re just asking for the public’s assistance in trying to help us drum up some leads,” said Deputy Chief Keith Hefner.

He went on to say the PBPD has to be careful how much information it releases because the subject is a juvenile. “We’re releasing enough information to have the public watch for this individual, to see if they can give us any context as far as where he might be seen or located.”

Davidson’s missing poster can be viewed online in the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s missing persons database. He has also been registered in the National Crime Information Center, which contains a digital index of all missing persons.

Anyone with information should contact PBPD immediately.

“Use the main Police Department number if it’s not an emergency and he’s not in immediate danger. Anyone with information on his whereabouts can contact the Poplar Bluff Police Department at 573-785-5776,” Hefner said.
