*HIGHWAY 67 BACK OPEN IN NORTHERN BUTLER AND SOUTHERN WAYNE COUNTIES*

Crews were reportedly on the scene of numerous tractor-trailer slide-offs in Southern Wayne and Northern Butler Counties.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol Sergeant Clark Parrott, Highway 67 was down to one lane in both directions from Highway O at Hendrickson to York Village. It is reportedly now back open to traffic.

Crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation, Wayne County Sheriff’s Department, and towing companies removed several vehicles.

Parrott adds that another round of winter weather is coming this afternoon and motorists should stay home if at all possible. If you must get out on the roadways, use extreme caution.
