Mobile pantry to be Jan. 26 for Butler County residents

NEW LIFE CHRISTIAN CHURCH UNITED, partnered with the Southeast Missouri Food Bank, will provide a special one-day Mobile Food Pantry at 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, on the parking lot of the church.

The food will be available to POPLAR BLUFF/BUTLER COUNTY RESIDENTS on a first come, first served basis.

The pantry will supply groceries for 200 addresses. A driver’s license or State of Missouri-issued identification with a current address will be required. Proof of residency must be shown along with ID (utility bill/mail etc.).

Only one box per address will be given. Maximum of two boxes per car, with separate ID required. Clients must bring their own bag or box in which to receive food.

For drive-through, enter the parking lot from the Broadway Street side of the parking lot. Volunteers will guide you. Walk-ups must go through the same line as the autos.
