Advertise shows better

I am glad that the Black River Coliseum is having Travis Tritt on April 10th and announced it now. What I have (a) problem (with) is the way they announce their programming and I feel that is one of the reasons we do not get more shows. Take the fact that while I was looking up the prices for Tritt, I find that they have scheduled Reza, a popular Branson magician for the night before and have had tickets on sale since February.

Has anyone heard a word about this show? If you’re not going to publicly promote my show other than on your website, I would not recommend your venue to other shows. Or like the last time Larry the Cable Guy was supposed to make his second appearance at the Coliseum, you did advertise a May show starting in September and expected people to buy tickets over the holidays.

When you don’t sell out the show in the first month, then the promoter claims “no public interest” and then cancels the show, comes more bad publicity for the Coliseum and the city. I know we are small and will only get second tier show in town but advertising the shows you do get, and in the proper way, might get more promoters interested and might also bring in bigger shows. By the way, after a year and a half, I hope we get to finally see Ron White. Thanks
