FREE ACCESS: Police ask for help finding missing Dexter woman, child

Dexter police officers are asking for help finding this 7-year-old child.

The Dexter Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a missing woman and child.

According to a press release, at approximately 2:36 p.m. Sunday, Dexter Police Department received a report for check the well being at 307 S Elm in Dexter.

The reporting party was checking on his mother and her daughter, the door to the residence was standing open, officers said. He checked the house and after not finding his mother or sister, he exited the residence and contacted the Dexter Police Department.

Dexter officers need help finding this woman.

Dexter officers say they responded to the scene and no one was located. During the initial search, officers discovered blood inside the residence.

Stoddard County Major Case Squad was activated. They are currently investigating two endangered persons:

A) Maria Danella Reyes, 48, 4’11” 120 lbs, brown eyes and brown hair, Hispanic female

B) Anyany Reyes, 7, 50 lbs, brown hair and brown eyes, Hispanic female

They may be in a 2005 Silver Pontiac Grand Am with tinted windows.

The Major Case Squad is also looking for a person of interest: Esbin Martinez Matilas, 45, Hispanic male.

He may be with Maria and her daughter, officers said.
