The following cases were recently acted upon in Circuit Court, Criminal Division.

Timothy Scott Wixom of the 500 block of Poplar Street admitted violating his probation April 1 on the Class B felony of sale of a controlled substance.

The court revoked his probation and ordered the execution of his previously suspended 10-year sentence in the Missouri Department of Corrections.


Charles Thomas Highfill of Qulin pleaded guilty April 2 to the Class D felony of possession of a controlled substance.

The court suspended the imposition of his sentence and placed him on five years’ supervised probation.

The court ordered he pay $46 to the Crime Victims’ Fund (CVF) and $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund.


Stephon Wayne Smith of Ellsinore pleaded guilty April 2 to the Class A misdemeanor of fourth-degree domestic assault.

The court sentenced him to one year in the Butler County jail, with suspended execution of the sentence, and placed him on two years’ supervised probation through the Citizens’ Advisory Board. The court also ordered he pay $10 to the CVF.


Alexander Demitri Bounds of the 700 block of Cherry Street pleaded guilty April 2 to the Class C felony of delivery of a controlled substance.

The court sentenced him to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, with suspended execution of his sentence, and placed him on five years’ supervised probation.

The court ordered he pay $46 to the CVF and $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund.


Clarence Eli Burpo Jr. of the 4600 block of Highway PP pleaded guilty April 2 to the Class D felony of receiving stolen property.

The court sentenced him to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections and ordered his sentence to run concurrent with a Stoddard County sentence. The court also ordered he pay $46 to the CVF.


Travis Shane Hicks of the 2900 block of Shady Lane was sentenced April 2 after earlier pleading guilty to the Class B felony of sale of a controlled substance.

The court sentenced Hicks, who was charged as a prior and persistent offender, to 20 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections and recommended he be placed in a long-term treatment program, with a bed date of May 27.

The court also ordered he pay $68 to the CVF.


Ethan Thomas Miller of the 1500 block of North Grand Avenue admitted violating is probation April 2 on the Class D felonies of second-degree burglary and first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle.

The court revoked his probations and ordered he serve two seven-year sentences in the Missouri Department of Corrections. The sentences were ordered to be served concurrently.


Jeremy James Thurner of the 2100 block of Woods Street admitted violating his probation April 2 on the Class D felony of non-support.

The court revoked his probation and sentenced him to three years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, with suspended execution of his sentence.

The court placed Thurner on a new five-year term of supervised probation and ordered he pay $241 per month in current child support and $75 per month in arrears, beginning May 1.


Dixie Anne Parks of the 700 block of North 10th Street pleaded guilty April 9 to two Class E felonies of stealing.

The court ordered she serve two four-year sentences in the Missouri Department of Corrections, with suspended execution of her sentences. The court ordered Parks’ sentences be served consecutively.

The court put Parks on five years’ supervised probation in each of her cases.

Parks was ordered to pay $46 to the CVF in both of her cases, as well as $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund and complete 100 hours of community service in one of her cases.


William Douglas Capper of Benton, Ky., pleaded guilty April 9 to the Class D felony of non-support.

The court suspended the imposition of his sentence and placed him on five years’ unsupervised probation.

The court ordered he pay $46 to the CVF and $278 per month in current child support, beginning June 3.


Dewayne Lamonte Presberry of the 700 block of Davis Street pleaded guilty April 9 to the Class E felony of third-degree domestic assault.

The court sentence Presberry, who was charged as a prior and persistent offender, to five years in the Missouri Department of Corrections and ordered he pay $46 to the CVF.


Mickala Nicole Ramsey of the 100 block of Hampton Court pleaded guilty April 9 to the Class A misdemeanor resisting lawful detention.

The court suspended the imposition of her sentence and placed her on two years’ supervised probation through the Citizens’ Advisory Board.

The court ordered Ramsey pay $10 to the CVF and $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund.


Ronny Ray Stormes of Corning, Ark., pleaded guilty April 9 to the Class D felony of second-degree burglary.

The court sentenced him to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, with suspended execution of his sentence, and placed him on five years’ supervised probation.

The court ordered he pay $46 to the CVF and $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund.


Randall Scott Burgess of the 3000 block of County Road 484 pleaded guilty April 9 to the Class D felony of second-degree arson.

The court sentenced him to three years in the Missouri Department of Corrections and ordered he pay $46 to the CVF.


Tiffany Autumn Fuchs of the 700 block of Warren Street pleaded guilty April 9 to the Class B felony of sale of a controlled substance.

The court suspended the imposition of her sentence and placed her on five years’ supervised probation.

The court ordered she pay $46 to the CVF and $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund and complete 100 hours of community service.


Gregory Young Goninan of Glenallen was sentenced April 9 after earlier admitted to violating his probation on the Class D felonies of stealing a firearm and driving while revoked (DWR).

The court revoked his probations and ordered the execution of his previously suspended seven-year sentence in the Missouri Department of Corrections on the stealing charge and suspended four-year sentence on the DWR charge.


John Edward Henry of the 1000 block of County Road 467 admitted violating his probation April 9 on the Class E felony of non-support and pleaded guilty to the Class E felony of non-support.

The court revoked his probation and sentenced him to three years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, with suspended execution of his sentence. The court placed him on five years’ supervised probation.

The court ordered he $170 per month in current support, beginning June 3.

The court also sentenced him to three years in prison, with suspended execution of his sentence, on his new non-support case. The court placed him on a five-year term of supervised probation.

The court ordered he pay $46 to the CVF and $320 per month in child support, beginning June 3.


Jeremy Klinder Rankin of the 1600 block of West Spring Street pleaded guilty April 9 to the Class C felony of possession of a controlled substance.

The court suspended the imposition of his sentence and placed him on five years’ supervised probation.

The court ordered he pay $46 to the CVF and $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund.


Alana Marie Smith of Malden pleaded guilty April 9 to the Class D felony of possession of a controlled substance.

The court suspended the imposition of her sentence and placed her on five years’ supervised probation.

The court ordered she pay $46 to the CVF and $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund and complete 100 hours of community service.


Rodney W. Wilson of Doniphan pleaded guilty April 9 to the Class D felony of unlawful possession of a firearm.

The court sentenced him to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, with suspended execution of his sentence, and placed him on five years’ supervised probation. The court ordered he pay $46 to the CVF.


Craig A. Reynolds of the 2400 block of 11th Street pleaded guilty April 15 to the Class B misdemeanor of driving while intoxicated.

The court suspended the imposition of his sentence and placed him on two years’ supervised probation through the Citizens’ Advisory Board.

The court ordered he pay $10 to the CVF and $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund and complete the Substance Abuse Traffic Offenders Program and Victim Impact Panel.


Cody Mast of the 1900 block of Highway W pleaded guilty April 16 to the Class D felonies of second-degree burglary and stealing.

The court sentenced him to two seven-year sentences in the Missouri Department Corrections and ordered the sentences to be served consecutively. The court also ordered the sentences be served concurrently with any other sentence Mast currently is serving.

The court ordered he pay $46 to the CVF.


Casual Banks of the 1100 block of North 11th Street admitted violating his probation April 16 on the Class D felony of possession of a controlled substance.

The court revoked his probation and sentenced him to five years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.


Linda Pearl Jones of the 200 block of Elm Street pleaded guilty April 16 to the Class D felony of possession of a controlled substance.

The court suspended the imposition of her sentence and placed her on five years’ supervised probation.

The court ordered she pay $46 to the CVF and $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund and complete 100 hours of community service.


Christopher L. Moran of St. Louis pleaded guilty April 16 to the Class D felony of forgery.

The court sentenced him to six years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, with suspended execution of his sentence, and placed him on five years’ supervised probation.

The court ordered he pay $46 to the CVF and $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund and complete 100 hours of community service.


Jennifer M. O’Neill of the 1900 block of Arkansas Avenue admitted violating her probation April 16 on the Class C felony of possession of a controlled substance.

The court revoked her probation and sentenced her to five years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.


Joseph Martin Sincup of Doniphan pleaded guilty April 16 to the Class B felony of first-degree burglary.

The court sentenced him to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections and ordered his sentence to run concurrently with any other sentence he currently is serving. The court also ordered he pay $68 to the CVF.


Kari M. Smody of the 900 block of Cedar Street admitted violating her probation April 16 on the Class C felony of possession of a controlled substance.

The court revoked her probation and ordered the execution of her previously suspended seven-year sentenced in the Missouri Department of Corrections.

The court recommended she be placed in a 120-day shock incarceration program, with a bed date of May 13.


Larence E. Browers III of Van Buren pleaded guilty April 16 to two Class E felonies of damage to a jail.

The court suspended the imposition of his sentences and placed him on five years’ supervised probation in each of his cases.

The court ordered he pay $46 to the CVF in each of his cases, as well as $265 in restitution within six months.


Jeremy J. Hobbs of the 300 block of Ripple Lane was sentenced April 16 after earlier being found in violation of his probation on the Class C felony of possession of a controlled substance.

The court revoked his probation and ordered the execution of his previously suspended five-year sentence in the Missouri Department of Corrections.


Paul Alexander Johnson of Jonesboro, Ark., admitted violating his probation April 16 on the Class C felony of passing a bad check.

The court revoked his probation and ordered the execution of his previously suspended five-year sentence in the Missouri Department of Corrections.


Tajsh J. Lee of the 300 block of North G Street admitted violating his probation April 16 on the Class B felony of first-degree assault and pleaded guilty to the Class D felony of unlawful possession of a firearm.

The court revoked his probation and ordered the execution of his previously suspended 12-year sentence in the Missouri Department of Corrections.

The court also sentenced him to seven years in prison on the weapon charge and ordered Lee’s sentences to be served concurrently.

The court also ordered he pay $46 to the CVF on his weapon case.


Samuel D. Brown of the 1000 block of Cole Avenue admitted violating his probation April 23 on the Class B felony of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and pleaded guilty to the Class D felony of unlawful possession of a firearm.

The court revoked his probation and ordered the execution of his previously suspended 12-year sentence in the Missouri Department of Corrections.

The court sentenced him to seven years prison and ordered his sentences to be served concurrently. The court also ordered he pay $46 to the CVF.


Carl Thomas Leroy Hiles of Broseley pleaded guilty April 23 to the Class D felony of possession of a controlled substance.

The court suspended the imposition of his sentence and placed him on five years’ supervised probation. The court ordered he pay $46 to the CVF.


Jerome Lawrence King of the 1800 block of Raulston pleaded guilty April 23 to the Class B misdemeanor of second-degree property damage.

The court sentenced him to six months in the Butler County jail, with suspended execution of his sentence, and placed him on two years’ supervised probation through the Citizens’ Advisory Board. The court ordered he pay $10 to the CVF.


Brittany Dawn Pelliccio of the 900 block of County Road 535 pleaded guilty April 23 to the Class D felony of possession of a controlled substance.

The court suspended the imposition of her sentence and placed her of five years’ supervised probation.

The court ordered she pay $46 to the CVF and $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund and complete 100 hours of community service.


Milton Roy Taylor of the 1200 block of Delano pleaded guilty April 23 to the Class C felony of delivery of a controlled substance.

The court sentenced Taylor, who was charged as a prior and persistent offender, to 12 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. The court ordered he pay $46 to the CVF.


Rose M. Taylor-Vaughn-Griffin of the 1600 block of Wallace Street pleaded guilty April 23 to the Class D felony of possession of a controlled substance.

The court suspended the imposition of her sentence and placed her on five years’ supervised probation.

The court ordered she pay $46 to the CVF and $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund.

Jonathan S. Strange of the 1200 block of Hudson Drive admitted violating his probation April 23 on the Class E felony of non-support and pleading guilty to the Class D felony of second-degree burglary.

The court revoked his probation and sentenced him to four years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, with suspended execution of his sentence. The court placed him on five years’ supervised probation and ordered he pay $50 per month in current child support and $50 per month in arrears, beginning June 1.

The court also sentenced him to seven years in prison on the burglary charge, with suspended execution of the sentence and placed him on five years’ supervised probation.

The court ordered he pay $46 to the CVF and $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund and complete a theft intervention program.

The court ordered Strange’s sentences to be served concurrently.


Marcus Ray Traughber of Dudley admitted violating his probation April 23 on the Class D felony of driving while intoxicated (persistent offender).

The court revoked his probation and ordered the execution of his previously suspended four-year sentence in the Missouri Department of Corrections.


Reggie Leon Johnson of the 500 block of South Ninth Street pleaded guilty April 30 to the Class D felony of possession of a controlled substance.

The court sentenced Johnson, who was charged as a prior and persistent offender, to 10 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, with suspended execution of his sentence.

The court placed him on five years’ supervised probation and ordered he pay $46 to the CVF and $300 to the Butler County Law Enforcement Restitution Fund. Johnson also was ordered to complete 100 hours of community service.

The court revoked his probation and ordered the execution of his previously suspended four-year sentence in the Missouri Department of Corrections. The court recommended he be placed in a 120-day shock incarceration program.


Jacob Dawayne Voshell of the 1100 block of North Main Street admitted violating his probation April 30 on the Class B felony of sale of a controlled substance.

The court revoked his probation and ordered the execution of his previously suspended 10-year sentence in the Missouri Department of Corrections.


Brett Alan Walls of the 500 block of North 10th Street admitted violating his probation April 30 on the Class C felony of second-degree burglary.

The court revoked his probation and sentenced him to seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, with suspended execution of his sentence.

The court placed Walls on five years’ supervised probation and ordered he successfully complete a Butler County alternative services program.

The court also ordered he pay $1,998 in restitution at $100 per month, beginning June 15.
