Thanks UCAN donors for helping fight cancer

Monday, March 6, 2017

I would like to take the time to thank you (Melody), and the United Cancer Assistance (UCAN) along with many others for all the help you offered me. As you know I was diagnosed with cancer October 25, 2016. I had surgery to remove the cancer November 28th and started radiation and chemo January 9th. I don't know how I would have gotten through all this without first Jesus Christ, Highway Missionary Baptist Church, the United Cancer Assistance (UCAN) and all the prayers. I will forever be grateful for all the individualized support you all provided for me and my family, to help us get through this difficult time in our lives.

I would like to thank the local citizens that donate funds to UCAN to make this all possible for me and others in the area with cancer. No one will ever know how much it truly helped me with my recovery just having the peace of mind of not losing everything I own to cancer and still get my treatments every day.

Melody you have gone above and beyond the call of duty to ease some of the burden brought about in the wake of my cancer diagnosis. I am cancer free at this time. Thank you!

Thank the local citizens of Poplar Bluff and the surrounding area's that donate funds for this to be possible, It would not have been possible without you!

I would like to further encourage the support of the citizens in this area to continue contributions for the present as well as the future of our friends and neighbors in need qf UCAN.

Most Grateful,

Terry Brooks
