Let's grieve

and then heal

This incident in Ferguson happened as do many others. Nobody planned it. Nobody could have predicted what would occur. The police are at risk every tour of duty. No one person should be blamed for this. I do wonder the reaction if the officer had been killed. The persons who have lied about this should be ashamed of themselves. The young man will not be resurrected if the officer suffers. The violence and destruction of property and the tearing down of this community should NOT be the goal of anyone. Let's grieve. Let's heal. And, let's improve and move forward and not wallow in this. God bless everybody.

I was reading Speak Out in today's newspaper. I was reading "A Warning to the Elderly." That sounds like a couple with some kids we have running around the Qulin and Oglesville area. You might want to tell them to keep an eye out for these people, too, cause they're doing it here also.

Hello, Speak Out. I was just wondering if anyone besides Kaplan had read his contract? And, I was kinda wondering if maybe there wasn't a probationary clause? You know 30, 60, 90, maybe 120 days? Some way to send him on down the road without having to pay him a year's salary and a nice fat severance package like they gave the joker out there at the college. Of course, there's been several leave the college and get paid really well after they leave. But you guys don't seem to be too concerned about that. So, what difference does it make who ****** off the tax money? Or which fund it comes out of because it all depends on who the DAR likes, doesn't it?
