Change needed

in county govt.

Why is it that the county commissioners can find enough money to give all county employees a raise - including themselves - and can't find enough money to fully fund the sheriff's department?

Folks, it's time for leadership change in our county government! Larry, Moe and Curly have got to go.

Globalization

hits propane

Anybody who has to heat their home in the Midwest with propane gas are now starting to see the real effect of the globalization of these markets do to them when Mother Nature turns a little bit less than normal temperatures we suffer in the Midwest during the winter. But there's one thing that's even worse than this globalization of having had all this propane sent to China is the fact that now we have Americans that help produce and market this product being just simply pushed aside while our government sits there looking at the wonderful money they get from the energy consortium that have allowed this to happen. What I'm trying to say in essence is it's time for our energy, that is produced in America, to remain in America. Since they are taking away coal from our energy mix, I think, not one more cubic foot of natural gas, propane, gasoline, oil or anything else needs to leave our shore and we should nationalize the industries here now. I know a lot of people that own stock in energy say, "Oh, you're nuts." Look at what they are doing to the Americans now with the global market. It's time to stop.
