History reoccurs

Call me a skeptic, but with the recent deal that the president and the group of six made with Iran, I truly feel that all we have done is basically set them a timeline for finishing their weapon and giving them the funding to do it. Mind you, this wonderful deal that they are calling "First Step" reminds me of nothing more than when Neville Chamberlain appeased the Germans before World War II. Sadly, there's one thing that always rings true if you don't pay attention to history sadly it will tend to repeat itself. Our president, in my opinion, as made a grave error in trusting the mullahs, but it's too late now, America, but then again what else will he lie about to the American people? We have citizenry over there that are in their prisons and they can't talk about them now. No, but like a little hand game what's this over here while I try to hide what's going on here in America. Are you getting as tired of the shell game as I am? America, I didn't think I'd ever say this, but it's time to vote a strictly Republican ticket next time around. Liberalism is not working, globally or for America, anymore.

Vet says 'thanks'

Hello. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank those businesses in Poplar Bluff that offered discounts or even free meals to veterans this past Veterans' Day. Pizza Hut and Smokin' Aces B-B-Q are some I know of. I'm sure there were many more. Thank you again from an old veteran. Bye.

Generosity

appreciated

Thank you. Thank you. The Jenkins Family would like to thank all the neighbors on County Road 526 who donated money to help us on our trip to New York to participate in a cancer treatment study for our eight-year-old daughter, Alexis. Thank you for supporting our family in such a generous way. God bless you all.

Enjoyed photo contest winners

I thoroughly enjoyed the insert in the paper with the photo contest winners. They were very good, but I was really disappointed to see that you had lumped the churches in with the barns in that category. I think it deserved a category of its own, but I did enjoy the pictures. Thank you very much.
