Taste of Town a tremendous success

To the Editor,

On behalf of the 350+ members of the Boys & Girls Club of Poplar Bluff, I would like to thank our wonderful community in making the Taste of the Town a tremendous success. Through the tireless efforts of many we were able to raise over $32,000 that will greatly help our mission: To enable all young people, especially those who need us the most, to reach their full potential as productive, responsible, caring citizens. The Boys and Girls Clubs of America is the number one child servicing agency in the world, and you have certainly done your part to make sure that is happens in your home town. Our committee was able to overcome many obstacles to put together a wonderful experience that will continue to bear positive results for many years to come.
