Emerson gone

to dark side?

Yeah, Southern Missouri's beloved Jo Ann Emerson seems to have gone over to the dark side. She's advocating raising taxes to balance the budget. Had enough yet, folks?

Police report

the right thing

This Penn State scandal -- I have to say I agree that the men who caught the child molester, Jerry Sandusky, performing sex acts on the campus on children, they should have gone directly to the police to make a report. That's what I would have done because after I found some kind of blunt object and I beat the crap out of Jerry Sandusky I most certainly would have filed a police report. It would have been terribly impolite for the janitorial staff at Penn State to have found his crumpled, mangled body in the corridor. I think the only right thing to do would have been to have filed a police report. Thank you.

It's time to

take a stand

Until Christians take a stand against the 1-10th of 1 percent of our population that is so charged in destroying our society through their push toward legalization of their same-union marriages and the like. We will only see more of the incidents that are occurring at such fine institutions as Penn State and others. Sadly, until we become as adamant as most Muslims are in the world concerning our religion and drive from the political landscape these deviant creatures trying to destroy our society we will not have a decent place for our children. They will only be preyed upon more and more and more by the deviancy brought forth by this same, miniscule portion of our society. So, ask yourself this--if you're a Christian when, in God's name, are you going to stand up and what are you going to stand up for? Your children? Your grandchildren? Ask yourselves that, hypocrites!

People don't

want to work

I see constantly in the news about these 99 percenters on this, you know, Wall Street nonsense that they are complaining about and I truly wonder after looking at my own stepson who's recently gone out and started his own business. True, it's odd jobs--no job too big, too small--but, he has a work ethic that because 1) he has a family he has to support through court-ordered child support, but this young man going out charging $10 an hour, mind you, has got now more work lined up than he truly can handle. Wishes he could hire some people, but, you know in this time, it seems people don't want to work even for $10 an hour. Strange, isn't it? Nobody will do anything for anything any more. But, I couldn't be prouder of this young man because he because of that work ethic is 1) paying his child support and 2) he's working. Making these 99 percent that are sitting on their duffs, sucking their thumbs waiting for mommy and daddy, if they are a college student, to bail them out or if there is somebody else waiting for Uncle Sam to bail them out either through unemployment or welfare or whatever. That is truly makes me wonder when it all comes down to it. Here's a question to the 99 percenters: where do you cash your checks when you're rallying against the very banks that you are fighting against? Just a little question, America. Where are these people putting their money that they are, oh, so much fighting against right now? Just makes you wonder how much of a hypocrite these people really are, doesn't it? Kinda like they're speaking out both sides of their mouth just as they've been indoctrinated to do in college. It's a wonder now, isn't it?
