To the Editor,

On behalf of the Boys & Girls Club of Poplar Bluff, I would like to thank our wonderful community in making the Inaugural Coppertop Classic sponsored by Poplar Bluff Medical Partners and the Black River Healthcare Foundation a tremendous success. The Boys and Girls Clubs of America is the number one child servicing agency in the world, and you have certainly done your part to make sure that is happening in your home town.

This year's event was once again presented challenges which were met and overcome with enthusiasm and a desire to ensure our club members would receive the support they deserve. It begins with our gracious sponsors Mike Burcham and Laura Moffitt of Poplar Bluff Medical Partners who stepped up for the welfare of our children.

We're thankful to all who were generous enough to sponsor our event. We'd like to recognize our Silver Sponsors, Robertson Construction, First Midwest Bank, and our wonderful friend, Dr. Lance Yeoman and the Dermatology Office. We are also deeply indebted to Chris Shrum and his associates at Michelob Ultra, People's Community Bank, McLane Transport, Bluff Honda, Cosmic Inc., Blackwell Baldwin Ford and Larry Hillis Dodge for their continued outstanding support. Our thanks to our hosts at Ozark Ridge Golf Course for being so helpful to ensure everyone had a wonderful outing.

The Coppertop Classic benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of Poplar Bluff was a success due to efforts of board members Mark Melloy, Mel Jackson, Ben Ressel and organized by our committee chairperson, Cassie Montgomery. Thank you and God bless each and every one of you for what you do for our kids!

Sincerely,

Chris Rushin
