William Haynes

William “David” Haynes, 88, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.

Mr. Haynes was born Sept. 25, 1935, in Henderson, Missouri, son of the late Charles C. and Marcie Haynes. He served in the United States Army for two years.

On Dec. 21, 1969, he married Cynthia Thomas Haynes. She survives.

Also surviving are three children: Tina (Billy) Marie Duncan of Farmington, Missouri, Dennis Ray Hooker of Vanduser, Missouri, and Rebecca (Rick) Bain of Scott City, Missouri; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, June 24, 2024 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Kenny King officiating. Burial will be at Ash Hill Cemetery East in Fisk.
