Ripley fire victim identified

The victim of a house fire Friday night in Ripley County has been identified as Danny Halliburton.

Ripley County Sheriff Mike Barton said he has a call into the Missouri State Fire Marshal. He will wait for further information from the fire marshal before releasing any additional information.

The fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire, which occurred in the 800 block of Ripley County T-1, which is in the Oxly area.
