Trennis Veroyis, “TV”, Mattingly, 86, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024.

From humble beginnings in 1937 in Fisk, Missouri, TV was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, brother, son and friend to many. He’ll be remembered by the many lives he touched, for his extraordinary work ethic, his common sense wisdom, his sense of humor, his boundless good cheer and his generosity to all. He loved to meet new friends, tell stories and make people happy.

TV’s remarkable life included a long career with Procter and Gamble where he retired as a manager, serving as a Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America, serving as a platoon sergeant in the Army National Guards, president of the Terre Du Lac Country Club, and many other community service activities.

A beloved son of Chester and Birdia Mattingly who preceded him in death. TV is survived by his loving wife Erladean Mattingly; his former wife and mother of his sons. Barbara Mattingly; and his brothers, Aubra, Max and Dale Mattingly. He was preceded in death by his older sister, Eurma Lou Morgan.

He was a devoted and inspirational father of Greg (Judi) Mattingly and Tim (Jill) Mattingly; proud grandfather of Stephen and Lauren Mattingly; step- grandfather of Alexandra Combs (Tim) Ross and Berkeley Combs; and great-grandfather of Poppy and Margot Ross.
