Denise Monroe

Denise M. Monroe, 69, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, died Feb. 7, 2024 at Winchester Place in Bernie, Missouri.

She was born Oct. 9, 1954 in Brooklyn, New York.

When not working, Denise enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved to BBQ and to get together at Lake Wappapello and Sam A Baker state park to swim. She was a very loving mother, grandmother and wife who always put her family above herself in taking care of and providing for them. Even until her last days, she always wanted those around her to be happy.

She is survived by two children, daughter, Melisa Monroe, and son, Robert Monroe; five grandchildren: Isaiah, Melea, Mason, Blake and Chase; sister, Linda Onderko; sister, Laura Hall; brother, Brian Conway; sister, Sharon Webb; brother, Chris Conway.

Her husband, Randy Monroe, preceded her in death in 2013.

There will be a gathering of family and friends from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2024 at White Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk.
