Matthew Wilkerson

Matthew Allen Wilkerson, 45, of Dudley, Missouri, died Tuesday, March 5, 2024.

He was born Dec. 23, 1978, in Dexter, Missouri, to Rickey Wilkerson and June Thomason. Matt was a hard-working single father who raised his three children on his own. He loved working on things and could fix anything. He was always helping his brothers build things. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on ATVs and vehicles. He will be forever missed by his family, many friends, and co-workers.

Matt is survived by his mother, June Thomason of Dudley; his father, Rickey (Susan) Wilkerson of Harviell; three children, Kayleigh Wilkerson of Poplar Bluff, Ayden (Rianne) Wilkerson of Bloomfield, and Lucas Wilkerson of Dudley; one granddaughter: Lily Alcorn of Poplar Bluff; his soulmate and love of his life, Courtney Phillips of Poplar Bluff; two brothers, Nathan (Kristi) Wilkerson of Fisk and Todd Wilkerson of Dudley; one sister, Kadie (Joe) Jones of Poplar Bluff; one stepbrother, Chad (Sirena) Jones of Neelyville; nieces and nephews, Michaela Jones, Brookelynn “Little Girl” Wilkerson, Devon Wilkerson, Dominic Wilkerson, Mark Jones, Maggie Jones, Breagan Erwin, and Brentlee Jones; and many aunts, uncles, and extended family members and friends.

Matt was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Roy and Doris Thomason and his paternal grandparents, Bob and Mildred Wilkerson.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2024 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Brian Sharp officiating. Burial will follow at Ash Hill Cemetery East in Fisk.
