Diana Lee Taylor, 77, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed peacefully with family holding her hand, Feb. 8, 2024, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Diana was born Dec. 13, 1946, to JC and Vera McVay in Newport, Arkansas. She married Lonnie Taylor Aug. 22, 1967, in Magness, Arkansas.

Diana was a 1964 graduate of Newark High School and a retired employee of Poplar Bluff School District. She was a caring and giving member of the community, volunteering in several aspects and a member of ADK sorority. She loved cooking and spending time outdoors gardening. Diana had a great love for her family and loved cheering her grandsons on at their sporting events. She was a cherished and loving wife, mother, and Mimi.

Diana is survived by her husband of 56 years, Lonnie Taylor; one daughter, Jill Taylor Roberts (Scott) of St. Charles, Missouri; two grandsons, Jonathan (JT) Roberts and Michael Roberts; seven siblings, Jim McVay (Kay) of Newark, Connie Lewallen of Albany, Georgia, Lenora Pearson (Duane) of Magness, Arkansas, Leveta Gist of Batesville, Arkansas, Ruth Henderson (Tom) of Salado, Arkansas, Carol Myers (Evans) of Greers Ferry, Arkansas, Cathy Brown (Rick) of Athens, Alabama; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Brenda Lewallen.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2024, at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services in Poplar Bluff.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2024, in the City Cemetery (Woodlawn) with Steve Patterson officiating.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ADK scholarship fund that helps local students attend college, a cause that was dear to Diana (1407 Seifert Drive, Poplar Bluff, MO 63901 c/o Angie Bowman).
