Shirley Golden

Shirley A. Golden, 87, of Poplar Bluff went to be with the Lord Jan. 15, 2024.

She is preceeded in death by her husband of 63 years, Gene; son, Randy; seven, brothers, Frank, Carl, Tommy, David, Danny, Johnny, Norman; and two sisters, Doris and Judy.

Born in St Louis, Missouri to Frank and Clara Womack, she was a retired nurse at Lucy Lee Hospital, and attended New Oak Hill General Baptist. She enjoyed mowing, landscaping, and spending time with family, most of all being in charge, if you knew her, you knew that already!

Survivors include two brothers, Steve and Lee; two sisters, Ruthy and Allene; daughter, Kellie; son, Skip (Tracy); grandchildren, Bradley, Ashley, Seanny and Matt, Kristen, Justin, Jeramy, Madyson, Shana, Andy, Alan; great-grandchildren, Hunter, William, Emra, Randi Jo; and lots of nieces, nephews, and family that she loved dearly.

Services will be Monday, Jan. 22, 2024 at Fowler and Sons Funeral Home in Neelyville, Missouri. Visitation will be at 11 a.m. with the funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. followed with graveside service at Browns Chapel in Broseley, Missouri.
