Misty Baker

Misty Renee Baker, 48, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away Jan. 12, 2024 in the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

She was born Dec. 23, 1975 at Poplar Bluff to the late John Proctor and Debra Burkett.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church at Richland, Missouri and had worked as a office administrator. She enjoyed diamond painting, camping, flowers, gardening, taking pictures and spending time with her grandchildren.

On July 28, 2004 at Poplar Bluff, she was married to William Jay Baker. He survives.

Also surviving are four children, LaDeana Burson and husband, Jake, of Poplar Bluff, Kayla Contreras and husband, Cesar, of Collinsville, Illinois and Roy Brown of Poplar Bluff, and Zoey Brown and husband, Travis Stoner, of Stoutland, Missouri. Her grandchildren, Jayson, Jackson, Noah, Hope, Odin, Mason, Tucker and Stetson, as well as one sister, Theresa Burkeen of Poplar Bluff and one brother, Chad Proctor of Rockford, Illinois also survive.

She is preceded in death by her parents as well as one brother, John Proctor.
