Terje Johannesen

Terje Johannesen was born Sept. 19, 1950 in Bergen, Norway. He died Dec. 28, 2023. He was 73 years old.

He was a beloved son, father, brother, and friend.

He is survived by his children, Gretal Cacavollia-Larson of Rocky Hill, Connecticut , Thaddaeus (Krysti) Johannesen of Wallingford, Connecticut, Kent (Agnes) Johannesen of Oxford, Connecticut; grandchildren: Natalie Cacavollia, Carter and Autumn Johannesen, Luke, Emilia and Naomie Johannesen; his mother: Inger Johannesen; brothers, Kenneth (Debbie) Johannesen, Peter (Joyce) Johannesen; and several nieces and nephews.

Terje was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He served as a ministerial servant in the Poplar Bluff, Missouri congregation, and also as a full-time pioneer preacher of the message of the good news.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, 2024 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 500 NN in Poplar Bluff.
