Linda Cuker

Linda Kay Cuker, 82, of Saint Peters, Missouri, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2023, at her home.

Linda was born April 10, 1941, to Jesse and Thelma Priest of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Her first marriage was to Tom Thacker also of Poplar Bluff. They had two sons, Tom Thacker II and Jonathan Thacker. Linda would later be re-married to William Cuker.

Linda graduated from Poplar Bluff Senior High in 1959. Soon after she was a runner-up in the Miss Missouri pageant. Her employment history included working for the Bank of Poplar Bluff, the Poplar Bluff Police Department and later as a legal assistant and paralegal for law firms in Poplar Bluff, as well as in Miami, Florida. Her hobbies included reading and decorating. She also enjoyed shopping and spending time with friends and family.

Linda is survived by two sons, Tom Thacker II married to Dr. Holly Thacker and Jonathan Thacker married to Beth Thacker; three grandchildren, Stetson Thacker married to Laura, Emerson Thacker married to Becca, and Grayson Thacker; three great-grandchildren, Artemis, Beatrice, and Lincoln Thacker.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband William Cuker and grandson, Jake Thacker.

Final viewing and graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 18, 2023, at Woodlawn Cemetery.
