In Loving Memory of Pearline Cagle

Sept. 19, 1921 - Nov. 20, 2023

Pearline Cagle, a woman of unwavering faith and boundless love, took her first steps onto the streets of her heavenly home on Monday, Nov. 20, 2023, at 102 years and 62 days old. She was preceded in death by her husband, BG Cagle, her sons Leman and Clarence Cagle, great-grandson Jayce Malone, and many other family and friends.

Pearline was a beacon of God’s love, her life a testament to the profound impact of faith and family. Above all else, she loved God with a depth that touched the hearts of everyone she encountered. Those who were fortunate to be part of her life knew the power of her prayers, a comforting and steadfast presence in times of joy and sorrow.

Her legacy is one of spiritual guidance and a commitment to righteousness. Pearline possessed a gentle strength that empowered her to guide her loved ones onto the right path. Her dedication to family was evident not only in the moments of joy and celebration but especially in times of trial. Pearline faced life’s challenges with an unshakable faith, trusting in her God to lead her through every storm.

Through the years, Pearline’s life was a tapestry woven with threads of faith, love, and resilience. Her unwavering commitment to God and family leaves an everlasting mark on those who were blessed to know her. As she reunites with those who went on before her, Pearline’s spirit will continue to inspire and guide her family, echoing the words of Proverbs 31:28, “Her children rise up and call her blessed.”

Pearline is survived by her five remaining children: Lenora Nall of Corning, Arkansas; Wanda Kinnaird of Galveston, Texas; David and Roberta Cagle of Glendale, Arizona; Linda and Bryan Malone of Corning, Arkansas; and Brinda and Johnnie Guthrie of Parsons, Tennessee; 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren, along with a host of other family members and friends who will forever carry her love in their hearts. While we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the profound impact she had on all who knew her.

Pearline was a beloved member of the Big T Apostolic Church. A visitation will be held 10 -11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, 2023, at the Big T Apostolic Church, Corning, Arkansas. A funeral service followed with Rev. Bryan Malone officiating. Burial was at Gum Cemetery, Naylor, Missouri.
