John Poole Sr.

John Charles Poole, Sr., 77, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, died Monday, Dec. 11, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. Poole was born Sept. 19, 1946 in Tyler, Missouri, son of the late Orval and Katie Poole.

He is survived by three children: John Charles (Shannon) Poole, Jr. of Fisk, Kellie (Todd) Stephens of Harviell, and Katie Poole of Fisk; five grandchildren: Casen and Cade Stephens, Brayden Poole, Lawson and Emerson Poole; one brother: Gary Poole of Fisk, and one sister: Judy Barnes of Holcomb.

In addition to his parents, John was also preceded in death by an infant son and four siblings: Pat Xindarakos, Laura Jo Poole, Billy Poole, and Dink Poole.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, 2023 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with Rev Jim Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at Ash Hill Cemetery East in Fisk.

The family requests any memorial contributions be sent to the Twin Rivers FFA or the Neelyville Class of 2025.
