Florence Haag

Florence “Boots” Haag, 89, of Fredericktown, Missouri, formerly of Broseley, Missouri, died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2023 at Stockhoff Memorial Nursing Home, in Fredericktown.

Mrs. Haag was born June 29, 1934 in Bernie, Missouri, daughter of the late William and Lula Rena Clark.

Boots enjoyed quilting, baking, and traveling. More than anything she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by one daughter: Lesi Smith of Eldon, Missouri; two granddaughters: Rachelle Smith of Eldon, and Kendra (Jason) Nichols of St. Louis, Missouri; three great-grandchildren: Maggie, Cash, and Hendrix; and one sister: Lillian Lewis of Qulin, Missouri.

In addition to her parents, Boots was also preceded in death by her husband, Fredrick Haag; four brothers: Lewis, Skeet, Cecil, and Tobe Clark; and three sisters:  Wilma Gallamore, Gladys Roark, and Sue Clark.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, 2023, at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Sanders officiating. Burial will be at Brown Chapel Cemetery in Broseley.
