Joseph Martin

Joseph David Martin, 55, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2023, in Poplar Bluff.

He was born Feb. 17, 1968, Mt. Vernon, Illinois, to Bill Martin and Sharon (Galiher) Briggs.

Joseph moved to Poplar Bluff from Mt. Vernon, Illinois in 1977. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and playing the drums. He loved spending time with his family.

Joseph is survived by one brother: James Alexander Martin in Germany; four aunts: Ruth (James) Davis of Poplar Bluff, Joyce Wade of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Doris Ozee of Chickasha, Oklahoma, and Vickie Porter of Mt. Vernon; one uncle: Carl Galiher of Mt. Vernon. He is preceded in death by his parents: Bill Martin and Sharon Briggs; and one brother: John Darin Martin. A host of family and friends also survive.
