George Spencer

George Jr. Spencer, 72, of Harviell, Missouri passed away Nov. 27, 2023, at his residence.

He was born April 25, 1951, at Butler County, Missouri to the late George F. Spencer and Betty “Wilson” Spencer.

He is survived by one sister, Jewell Birdsong of Harviell, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Carolyn Daves and Mary Brooks; and four brothers, Bill Spencer, Don Spencer, Melvin Spencer and Elvin Spencer; one niece, Patty Wilson; and great-nephew, Brent Cooper.

He was a farmer and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Visitation will start at noon Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023, with the funeral following at 1 p.m. all in the Fowler and Sons Funeral Home at Neelyville, Missouri. Burial will be in the Kinsey Cemetery near Harviell, with Pastor Bobby Brooks officiating assisted by Pastor Brad Helm.
