Margaret Brewer

Margaret Pauline “Aunt Polly” (Capper) Brewer, 81, of Fairdealing, Missouri went home to be with the Lord Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Pauline was born Dec. 23, 1941 to William and Nona (Wilson) Capper, in Coon Island, Missouri the fifth of their eight children.

Pauline graduated from Poplar Bluff High School in 1959.

On Oct. 1, 1960 she married Jimmie C. Brewer, still of the home. Pauline retired from Sigma Chemical in 2002 after 43 years of service.

Pauline is survived by one sister, Shirley Hall of Grandin, Missouri; 12 nieces, 11 nephews, and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, Velma Jenkins, Ilene Williams, Bertha Wyatt and Mary Mitchell and two brothers, Junior Capper and Elmer Capper.

Pauline enjoyed working puzzles, watching Gun Smoke and Wrestling, fishing, flower gardening and visiting with family and friends.

A celebration of Life and visitation will be held from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, 2023 at Kern’s Chapel Church in Stringtown, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kerns’s Chapel Cemetery fund.
