Letitia Lampley

Letitia “Tish” Charleen Lampley, 57, of Qulin, Missouri, passed away Thursday, Nov. 9, 2023 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Tish was born Jan. 25, 1966 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to parents Jerry Lampley Sr. and Joyce Darleen Lampley.

Tish was full of life, laughter, and love. Her life changed drastically at 50 years of age when she was diagnosed with Lymphedema, Multiple Sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease. She soon lost the ability to walk, to write at times, and also speak at times. She had later been diagnosed with Lupus, Renal Failure, and Glaucoma. Because of her health issues she had endured seizures and multiple heart attacks. She lost her battle when she had her last seizure and went into Cardiac Arrest. She was living in the Campbell Nursing Home in the last years of her life.

She was preceded in death by Jerry Lampley Sr. (dad), Jerry “Len” Lampley Jr. (brother), and Stewart Roy Thomas (brother-in-law).

Tish is survived by Darleen Lampley (mother), Kim Thomas (sister), and Stewart Brandon Thomas (nephew).

She appreciated all of those who made a change in her life. Tish valued the time that she got to visit with a family member or friend in the nursing home.
