Thomas Bounds

Thomas Nelson Bounds, 77, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2023, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Thomas was born Thursday, Sept. 26, 1946, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Homer Nelson and Esther Kaiser Bounds.

Thomas is preceded in death by his parents Homer Nelson and Esther Iola Kaiser Bounds.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Susan; son, Jeffrey Thomas (Dawn Marie) Bounds of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Dianna Lynn (Derek Joe) Medlock of Ravenden Springs; grandchildren Rachel Lauren Luedemann, Ryan Nelson Bounds, Derek Joe Medlock II, Teddy Dylan Medlock, Darren Christopher Thomas Medlock, and Deacon William Medlock; great-grandchildren Parker Ryan Liebhaber, Greyson Nelson Bounds, Everett Leslie Bounds, Meridith Lynn Bounds, Sutton Joe Medlock, Mila Grace Medlock, Stella Jo Medlock, Stetson Thomas Medlock, Cole Ander Luedemann, and Kainzle Rayne Luedemann; and special friends Mike Catron and Jim Bolton.

All services will be held at Hope Gardens Funeral Home in Pocahontas, Arkansas. A visitation was from held 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 27, 2023, with Joe Medlock and Morgan Woodard officiating. Thomas will be laid to rest in Sutton Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Derek Joe Medlock II, Teddy Dylan Medlock, Darren Medlock, Ryan Bounds, Mike Catron, and Jim Bolton.

Honorary pallbearers are Deacon Medlock, Parker Liebhaber, and Greyson Bounds.
