Steven Hopper

Steven Glen Hopper, 60, of Broseley, Missouri, died Tuesday, Sept.19, 2023 at Oakdale Care Center, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Mr. Hopper was born Dec. 6, 1962 in Saint Louis, Missouri, son of the late Eugene and Maydell Hopper. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also loved woodworking, which he made his career after many years as a truck driver.

Steven is survived by two children: Gretchen Hart of Poplar Bluff, and Evan (Susan) Hopper of Valles Mines, Missouri; three grandchildren: Logan Hart, Molly and Hannah Hopper; four siblings: Bryan Hopper of Oglesville, Missouri, Edwin Hopper of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, Patsy Sullivan of Poplar Bluff, and Darlis Hopper of Oglesville.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Qulin. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at the Qulin Cemetery.
