Mary Atchison

Mary Jane Atchison, 82, of Williamsville, Missouri, died Saturday, Sept.16, 2023 at Oakdale Care Center, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Mrs. Atchison was born June 18, 1941 in Broseley, Missouri, daughter of the late Ralph Ernest and Mary May Norden. She was a member of Highland Drive Church of Christ. She had formerly worked in their family business, Four A Enterprise at Williamsville for 28 years.

On Sept. 17, 1960 she married Franklin Atchison. He preceded her in death May 5, 1998.

She is survived by two sons: Darrell Atchison and wife, Joanna, and Andrew Atchison and wife, Tami, both of Williamsville; six grandchildren: Bruce Atchison, Drew Atchison, Mary Jo Wallace, Kelli Davidson, Franklin Atchison and Mariah Atchison; six great-grandchildren; and four sisters: Shirley Beebe, Elsie Wilkerson, Betty McIntosh and Helen Kearbey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Louie and Phillip Norden.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Vernon Curry officiating. Burial will be in Brown Chapel Cemetery at Broseley, Missouri.
