Karen Brannum

Karen Ann Brannum, 57, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Sunday, Sept. 10, 2023, in her home.

She was born Jan. 14, 1966, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Richard A. Wunderlich and Lorraine K. (Keele) Wunderlich.

Karen was a lifetime resident of Poplar Bluff. She enjoyed gardening, dancing, to cook, football especially the Dallas Cowboys. Karen loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

Karen is survived by two daughters: Carrie (Clay) Peterson and Kristy Brannum, both of Poplar Bluff; two bonus sons: Josh Montgomery of Poplar Bluff and Christopher Trammell of St. Charles; one bonus daughter: Jennifer Trammell of St. Charles; her significant other: Jeff Trammell; her father: Richard Wunderlich of Arlington, Texas; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her mother Lorraine Keele. A host of family and friends also survive.

Celebration of Life will be held Friday, Sept. 15, 2023, at 5 p.m. at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Chapel. Fitch-Hillis funeral home is assisting with all arrangements.
