Hershel Loafman

Hershel Mabrey Loafman, 94, died Monday, July 24, 2023, in Campbell

The son of the late Clarence Loafman and Bonnie Johnson Loafman, he was born Feb. 5, 1929, in Campbell.

He was a United States Air Force veteran, serving during the Korean conflict. He was also a member of the Bethany General Baptist Church in Campbell.

On May 4, 1951, in Piggott, Arkansas, he was united in marriage to Alma Geane Young. She survives.

Survivors include his wife, Alma Loafman of Campbell; one grandson, Jerimiah Benjamin of Springfield, Missouri; two brothers, Carson Loafman of Jackson, Missouri and Harlan Loafman of Bernie, Missouri and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one son, Kenny Dwight Loafman; one daughter, Kimberly Elaine Benjamin; three sisters and four brothers.

A visitation was at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 27, 2023, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden. Funeral services was at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel, with Brother Bryan Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Bethany Cemetery in Campbell.
