Howard Jones

Howard Denaman Jones, 83, of Harviell, Missouri, passed away July 21, 2023 at his residence.

He was born, May 29, 1940 at Manila, Arkansas to the late Saul Jones and Lorine “Melton” Jones.

On Oct. 8, 1960, He was married to Barbara Ellen French at Oxly, Missouri. She survives.

Also surviving; his wife, Barbara Jones; his children, Howard Alan Jones and wife, Marie, Jamie John Jones and wife, Marcia, and Robin Jones Ellsworth and husband Joie, as well as one brother, Johnny Jones.

Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, Travis, Christopher, Brian, Jamie John Jr., Dustin, Olivia Ellen Jean, April, Tessie, Aaron, Kammie, Michelle, Jeremiah and Hunter, as well as one great-grandchild, Daylah. One daughter-in-law, Rebecca Kennedy and three sister in laws, Jeanetta Jones, Rose Marie Jones and Cathy Jones also survive.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Gene Denaman Jones on September 2004, three sisters, Rosa Mae Jones, Lola Mae Jones, and Frieda Fay Baker and three brothers; Walter Jones, Charles Jones and Saul Júnior Jones.

He had worked in maintenance and enjoyed raising a garden, loved pets, fishing, family gatherings, westerns, visiting friends, making peanut brittle and sewing.

Visitation for Mr. Jones will be, Tuesday, July 25, 2023 starting at 10 a.m. till 11 a.m. with the funeral following at 11a.m. all in the Fowler and Sons Funeral Home at Neelyville, Missouri. Burial will be in the Kisney Cemetery near Harviell, Missouri.
