Mary Polin

Mary Ann Polin, 77, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Friday, July 21, 2023, in Poplar Bluff.

She was born Aug. 31, 1945, Leachville, Missouri to Walter Holden and Nelly (Blocker) Holden.

Mary was a longtime resident of Poplar Bluff. She was of the Baptist faith. Mary enjoyed fishing and cooking for her family. She loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her husband, Charles Polin; one son, Jimmy Talley of Poplar Bluff; three daughters, Mary Jean (Keith) Bishop, Sherry Fouts and Crystal Ayers, all of Poplar Bluff; one brother, Jimmy Holden of Cape Girardeau; eight grandchildren, Brian Fouts of Farmington, Michael Bishop, Miranda Krishna, Preston Talley, Lincoln Fouts, Lexie Talley, Liberty Fouts and London Weldon, all of Poplar Bluff; eight great-grandchildren, plus one on the way.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Nelly Holden. A host of family and friends also survive.

Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Chapel with funeral service to follow at 11a.m. Interment will follow at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery. Fitch-Hillis funeral home is assisting with all arrangement.
