— Megan Johnson at King David’s, 2-8 p.m. July 2. WHERE King David’s Winery, Meadery & Brewery. COST Free admission. WHAT Come out to hear the talented Megan Johnson on King David’s beautiful patio while enjoying some delicious food and hand-crafted beverages.

— Lego Challenge, 10:30 a.m.-noon July 3. WHERE Poplar Bluff Municipal Library, Main Branch. COST Free. WHAT Come to the library to build and create. Drop in at the Main Branch to do one of their Lego challenges or create your own.

— Red, White and RUN 4th of July 5k Run/Walk, 7 a.m. July 4. WHERE The Square, Downtown Poplar Bluff. COST $25 per person. Entries after the June 28 deadling do not include a T-shirt. WHAT PB Realty Downtown, B&T Screenprinting and Nest Investors present a walk/run to benefit Christway Ministries Women’s Center and celebrate Independence Day. Medals will be awarded to first and second place runners in several age divisions, additional prizes will be handed out for most patriotic male and female attire. Register onling through the event’s Facebook page or in person at the PB Realty Downtown branch, 400 Vine St.

— Poplar Bluff fireworks display, 9 p.m. or dusk July 4. WHERE Downtown Poplar Bluff. COST Free. WHAT Poplar Bluff’s fireworks display begins when night falls. The Poplar Bluff Fireworks Display Fundraiser is ongoing, and 10% of the $5,000 needed has been covered. For more information, contact the Daily American Republic at 573-785-1414.

— Lady Raider Basketball Camp, July 5. WHERE Libla Family Sports Complex. COST $30. WHAT A sports camp for students from kindergarten to 8th grade. K-2nd grades meet 9-10 a.m., 3rd-5th grades meet 10-11 a.m. and 6th-8th grades meet 11:30-1 p.m. Online registration is at raidersathletics.com/sports/wbkb/index under the Women’s Sports, the form is labeled 23 WBB Camp Form. WHAT A blues, bluegrass and rock trio named the 2021 Arkansas Country Music Awards “Young Artists of the Year,” winners of the 2023 Belmont Songwriter’s Showcase and being six-time “Best Local Band” in Northeast Arkansas.

— FRSHWATR Worship Night, 7-9 p.m. July 14. WHERE Historic Rodgers Theatre. COST Free. WHAT A night of worship for all people. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the night beginning at 7 p.m. Expect to be uplifted and encouraged with other believers from across the community. All concession stand proceeds go to supporting the Rodgers Theatre. All ages are welcome.

WHAT The Three Rivers College Rodeo Team and Farm Credit Southeast Missouri present an action-packed evening of bull riding. Bounce houses and food trucks will also be on site.
