William Norman

William Arthur Norman, 73, of Qulin, Missouri, passed away Monday, June 5, 2023 at his residence, in Qulin.

Mr. Norman was born Aug. 22, 1949, Bragg City, Missouri, son of the late Lenard Norman and Ollie Norman. He was a retired mechanic that enjoyed fishing, hunting, fixing things and carving wood.

William was a lifetime resident of Southeast Missouri and even though a failing heart took him from this world, his caring heart left a beacon of light for all in the community.

William is survived by two sons: Donald Norman and wife, Patrica, of Wappapello and Danny Norman and wife, Marci, of Puxico; two daughters: Kim Norman of Puxico and Sandy Metzger and husband, Karl, of Tucson, Arizona; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, one brother: Leonard Norman of Poplar Bluff and one sister: Gloria Flowers of Stringtown,

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lenard and Ollie Norman, one grandchild, William Norman, and seven siblings.

Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Aug. 19, 2023 at Shain Memorial Cemetery at Fisk, followed by a reception and meal at the Poplar Bluff Eagles.
