Patricia Weber (Copeland) Mather, 90, passed away peacefully at her home in Sikeston, Missouri June 10, 2023.

Pat was born Feb. 19, 1933, in West Plains, Missouri to the late Oscar and Mildred Weber.

On Dec. 24, 1952 she married Fred E. Copeland of New Madrid. They had three children. On March 2, 1980 she married Robert H Mather of Sikeston, who preceded her in death.

Pat was a 1950 graduate of Poplar Bluff High School and was a homemaker. She was an avid reader and an accomplished bridge player. She enjoyed the countless hours she spent with her lady friends around a bridge table. In her younger years she participated in beauty pageants.

Survivors include her children: Fred W. (Sonya) Copeland of New Madrid, Lisa (Gustave) Saettele of Ladue and Leslie (Sam) Hunter of New Madrid.

She is also survived by her stepchildren: Annette (Jim) Willis of Farmington, James (Kathy) Mather of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Mary Collette (William) Watson of Sikeston and Jeannette Mather of Jarrettsville, Maryland. Gone before her was Stephen Mather and Paulette Boardman. Other survivors include eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 11 stepgrandchildren and 13 stepgreat-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Mather and her sister Gloria Eaton.

Pat (Nana to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren) left great memories to her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Graveside services will be held for family and friends at 1:30 p.m. June 24th at Sikeston Memorial Park Cemetery. Richards Funeral Home of New Madrid is in charge of arrangements.
