Ruby Porch

Ruby Doris Porch, age 79, of Doniphan died Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at her residence in Doniphan.

Mrs. Porch was born March 28, 1944, in Poplar Bluff, daughter of the late John Summerlott and Liddie Wilkerson. Ruby devoted her entire life to caring for others. She was always eager to lend a helping hand and would never turn anyone away.

She is survived by three children, Steven (Serra) McCabe of Doniphan, Bryan McCabe of Saint Louis and Gary McCabe of Poplar Bluff; seven grandchildren, Jessica Patterson, Christina Long, Elizabeth McCabe, Blake McCabe, Charity McCabe, Stephanie Davidson and Dylan McCabe; 10 great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Mary Vinson, Leon Summerlott and Tom Summerlott, all of Poplar Bluff.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Porch; her parents, John Summerlott and Liddie Wilkerson; one grandson, Daniel McCabe; and six siblings.

Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 10, 2023, at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Qulin. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Serra McCabe officiating. Burial will be at the Qulin Cemetery. Condolences: www.whitesandersfuneralhome.com
