Thelma Nance

Thelma Lois Nance, 68, of Naylor, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at the St. Clair hospital in Fenton.

Mrs. Nance was born on Dec. 3, 1954, in Landstuhl, Germany. She had worked as a butcher and enjoyed reading, sewing, crafts and spending time with family swapping stories. She was a member of the Naylor Pentecostal Church.

On Feb. 25, 1980, Thelma married Richard Nance in Memphis, TN. He survives.

Also surviving are her children, Theresia Wheetly and husband Jason of Neelyville, Jeff Nance and wife Melissa of Balco, OK.; sisters, Mathilde Turner of LA., Darlene Stump of LA., Patty Thompson of Doniphan; brother, Mac Holmes of Collierville, TN.; grandchildren, Thomas, Taylor, Gavin, Marrisa, Jayden, and Will; great grandchildren, Kyla and Knox; as well as 8 nieces and nephews.

A visitation will take place from 1-2 p.m. on Sunday June 11, at the Naylor Pentecostal Church. The Service will immediately follow in the church with Donnie Fowler officiating.
