Best-selling author Christy Wright of Nashville, Tennessee, will be the keynote speaker for the Women Aware Conference in Poplar Bluff.

Tracy Tarpley, conference keynote chairman, and Cindy-Lou Morgan, conference director, are excited to announce Wright will highlight this year’s event. It will be held Sept. 21 at the Black River Coliseum.

“We’re super excited about our keynote speaker this year,” Morgan said. “We have spent a lot of time in our committee meetings so far this year going over some different options. We feel like the speaker we chose is super fitting for the women who attend the conference and things they’re interested in and dealing with in their lives, both business-wise and home life.”

Wright is a certified business coach, speaker and personal development expert.

Her No. 1 best-selling books are “Business Boutique,” “Take Back Your Time” and “Living True.”

Wright has been working hard to prepare what she will share with attendees, Morgan said.

“So make sure to get your tickets soon, because we know we’re going to have a sellout crowd this year,” she said.

Tarpley explained those who have heard Wright speak describe her as “amazing and very relatable.”

“We thought she would bring a lot of wisdom and knowledge from the business world and also be able to encourage our audience on self confidence and women’s issues, “ Tarpley said.

Wright has thousands of hours experience speaking professionally on some of the largest stages in the country and she now uses that experience to teach others how to make the impact they want to make, Tarpley said. Whether she’s working with authors and entrepreneurs or speakers and preachers, Wright is masterful at teaching people how to craft messages they are excited to share and confident to deliver.

She has been featured on the Today Show and Fox News, and in “Success,” “Entrepreneur,” and “Woman’s Day” magazines. From running around on stage or running after her kids, Wright makes the most out of life and loves to help others do the same, Tarpley said.

Wright and her husband, Matt, have three children, Carter, Conley and Mary Grace.

Tarpley is the district manager for Productive Staffing. Morgan is with Legacy Marketing.

Early bird tickets for $45 will be on sale until Sept. 1. Regular ticket sales for $55 end Sept 15.

Tickets may be purchased through the new Women Aware website, which went online Friday, or may be obtained at Productive Staffing, 502 Poplar St., Poplar Bluff, or by calling 573-785-4114.
