Susan Fortenberry

Susan Fortenberry, 62, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away April 15, 2023 at Cedargate Healthcare in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Susan was born June 9, 1960 to Harold and Patricia Baker in San Antonio, Texas. She married Mike Fortenberry, he survives.

Susan enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandsons. She was a 35-year-member of Westwood Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff.

Susan is survived by husband, Mike Fortenberry; daughter, Amy (Matthew) Macioch; son, Adam (Dawn) Fortenberry; grandsons, Nathan Fortenberry, Caden Howell, Ryan Fortenberry, Devon Macioch; sister, Cindy Saul; brother, Buddy Baker.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Jack and Mike Baker.

Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Steve Proctor officiating. Burial will take place at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery at a later time.
