Harold Muse

Harold Dwayne Muse, 75, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023, in Poplar Bluff.

He was born July 2, 1947, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Arthur Senator and Dorothy Estel (Lumley) Muse.

Harold was a long-time resident of Poplar Bluff. He was of the Baptist faith.  Harold was a retired truck driver of many years. He loved spending time with his wife Ruth of 55 years, his children and grandchildren. Harold served his country in the U.S. Air Force.

Harold is survived by his wife: Willie Ruth Muse of Poplar Bluff; three daughters: Karla (Kirk) Weatherford, Cammie (Jeff) Swingle and Hailey (Rick) Coggins; three grandchildren: Savannah Brookreson, Tylar Brookreson and Owen Swingle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Dorothy Muse; one son: Harold Dwayne Muse Jr.; five brothers and one sister.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2023 at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with a Celebration of Life to follow in Mr. Muse’s home. Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home is honored to assist the family in their time of need.
