Mary McNamee

Mary Louise McNamee, 84, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away surrounded by family, Thursday, March 9, 2023.

Mary was born Jan. 25, 1939, to Raymond and Gladys (Page) Hillis in Williamsville, Missouri. She married Jerry William McNamee Sept. 7, 1956, in Desoto County, Mississippi.

Mary’s talents included cooking, crocheting, and sewing, just to name a few! She enjoyed playing bingo and visiting the casino from time to time. She was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker.

Mary is survived by two sons, Jerry Mart McNamee (Jane) and Robert McNamee (Kimberly); one daughter, Deborah Cash (Stevie); three grandchildren, Nicole Bilbrey (Ike), Brandon Bilbrey and Nick McNamee (Andrea); and two great-grandchildren, Issac Gootee and Graylin McNamee.

Mary was preceded by her parents; husband; 11 siblings; one daughter, Rosalie McNamee.

Committal service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at the Missouri State Veteran Cemetery with Pastor Jim Schremp officiating.
